WHO WE ARE
More About Us
At Tony Love Lawyers, we’re a small, specialised firm based in the Northern Rivers. We opened our doors in 2021 to support locals with personal injury matters—everything from motor vehicle accidents and workplace injuries to public liability, medical negligence, and TPD claims. We’ve worked in both regional and city-based law, but we’ve chosen to live and work here because this is our community.
We don’t take every case—just genuine ones. That means we can focus on giving each client the time and clarity they need. You won’t get swamped in legal jargon with us. We’ll talk you through the good, the bad, and everything in between.
We’re upfront, practical, and backed by a strong national network of legal, medical, and insurance professionals. Whether you're dealing with an injury or just need advice, we’re here to help. Call us on

Our Team
Tony Love
LAWYER
Tony Love has worked in the field of injury litigation for the past 25 years acting in both New South Wales and Queensland motor accident, public liability and medical negligence claims. Admitted to the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia in 1996, his experience in these areas is significant.
Lismore bred, his entrepreneurial spirit and professional drive, saw him move from junior lawyer to partner in less than 5 years from commencing in the firm. He then went on to establish his own firm with three other partners in 2005, which has evolved over time to result in the establishment of Tony Love Lawyers in 2021.
Having completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Accounting, Tony has excellent connections with other professionals in the legal, medical, engineering and accounting fields which is essential to best promote his clients’ claims.
Tony maintains that each claim is different and requires unique attention to present a claim in the best possible way.
A love of the great outdoors, means Tony is as comfortable working on his cattle property or fishing as he is in the supreme court, and enjoys getting out of the office and meeting clients on their home turf.
Lynetta Love
LAWYER
With some 30 years’ experience, Lynetta Love believes that providing her clients with legal representation to support them through difficult times towards a fulfilling future is a privilege.
She commenced her career in 1991 as a law clerk in regional Queensland providing her with an important professional grounding in family, crime and general law. Hardworking and determined, she ambitiously completed her Bachelor of Laws externally and went on to secure a role as a solicitor in a respected Brisbane Insurance firm.
She gained admission to the Supreme Court of QLD in 1997, the High Court in 1998 and, after moving to NSW, the Supreme Court of NSW in 2003. Lynetta has been practicing exclusively in the field of personal injury/insurance since 2002 representing clients across regional and metropolitan Queensland and NSW.
In a former role, she represented insurance companies which provided her with a unique insight to how claims are assessed and evaluated. At Tony Love Lawyers, focussed on representing every day people who have experienced a life-altering injury or accident, her past experience has given her a keen sense of what strategies will achieve the best results for her clients.
To Lynetta, compensation is not just vital for the financial relief for the clients’ medical and rehabilitation bills and lost income, but an important step in the healing process, so that clients feel empowered to reclaim their life. She is fully cognisant of the roller coaster of emotions clients will experience as they go through the legal process which has cemented her strong but compassionate approach.
Steven Bull
LAWYER
Steven Bull has worked in the field of injury litigation for the past 25 years with a deliberate focus on Workers Compensation claims. Admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1998 and the High Court of Australia in 1999. Importantly, Steven is an Approved Legal Services Provider with IRO.
As a Mullumbimby lad growing up on the family farm Steven first completed a Bachelor of Environmental Science before throwing himself into his Law Degree which was motivated by an intrinsic belief that all Australians are entitled to natural justice and excellent legal representation. As a consequence of his upbringing, he brings a down to earth communication style into all client relationships, while his competitive nature ensures his clients the most favourable outcomes.
Steven’s competitive spirit is reflected in his local golfing involvement, game bird breeding and blue-ribbon wins. Steven loves all that the outdoors offer in the rural community that he has lived in his entire life from kayaking in Redrock, fishing the local rivers, cattle breeding and simply soaking in the environmental setting of the Northern River with his two sons and wife, Christine.
Recently joining the team at Tony Love Lawyers, Steven is now very happy to be working with likeminded individuals all sharing fundamentally the same value systems.
